From September 10th - October 24th, 2020, The Knight of Jazz will embark on his first national tour of Denmark in over a decade. “NIELS LAN DOKY 20/20” will visit 16 different cities across the country with his Danish trio playing classic songs and new cuts from his forthcoming album “River of Time” (April 3)

We’re very pleased to announce, in collaboration with Universal Music Group, that three of Niels Lan Doky’s classic albums originally released on Polygram Records in the late 90s/early 00s are now set for their digital debut for the first time on streaming platforms worldwide: Niels Lan Doky (1998), Asian Sessions (1999) and Haitek Haiku (2001)

Niels and Gino have had a long and fruitful working relationship and friendship that came to its heights as they spent 7 months together at Gino’s studio in Portland, Oregon (USA) collaborating on Niels’ 2001 Album “Haitek Haiku.” During that process, Niels experienced pure genius at work on a level that he did not yet know existed.

These two icons of Jazz come together to play you into the Christmas spirit with their new single for the 2019 holiday season. The A side includes a new arrangement and rendition of the classic "Let It Snow" featuring the Niels Lan Doky Trio w/ Randy Brecker (Released Worldwide on Nov 8th, 2019). The B Side is Niels Lan Doky Trio's new arrangement of "Silent Night" (Released Worldwide on Nov 15th, 2019)

Niels Lan Doky, the Knight of Jazz, started to take time out of his schedule every Sunday to reflect on the state of the world and share his thoughts. With ‘Your Right To Be Yourself’ Niels Lan Doky is reflecting and commenting on the world he lives in. Niels is excited to engage and interact with you on important global issues affecting us all.

On occasion of today's release of the "Improvisation On Life" album and our new website, Niels Lan Doky, the Knight of Jazz, performed at San Janvier International Jazz Festival in Spain with bassist Tobias Dall and drummer Niclas Bardeleben. The concert was a part of a double bill concert which featured both the Niels Lan Doky Trio and Maceo Parker and his band. Read one of the many reviews here.

Originally released in 2017 as an exclusive to Japan, Korea and Taiwan, Niels Lan Doky's "Improvisation on Life" is now available to his global fanbase. On this album Niels Lan Doky offers the fans a selection of both: half of the album are his original compositions and the other half are his arrangements of contemporary songs that the audience most certainly knows very well - just not this way.

We’ve launched the new www.nielslandoky.com as of July 26th, in line with worldwide distribution release of “Improvisation on Life”.
