NIELS LAN DOKY - YESTERDAY'S FUTURE

Spring Concert 2022 at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark

On March 23rd the Niels Lan Doky International Jazz Collective celebrated the start of Spring with a very special concert led by Niels Lan Doky, live from the Louisiana Museum in Humlebæk, Denmark. Tune in to the NLD IJC Facebook page to rewatch the concert.

The concert featured a program of original compositions by Niels Lan Doky, new and old, and he was accompanied by two exceptional Danish musicians and twin brothers, bassist Tobias Dall and drummer Nikolaj Dall.

It was wonderful to mark this year’s first day of spring with a very special musical tribute to life and light.

The Louisiana Museum of Modern art is among the most visited art museums in the world (with 750,000+ annual visitors pre-covid). Niels Lan Doky has been called “the best pianist of his generation” and has collaborated with a who’s-who in jazz. In addition to releasing 43 albums worldwide, he has written books, directed films, produced events, given a TEDx Talk and won numerous awards and accolades.
