A note from The Knight of Jazz, Niels Lan Doky:
”From March 18th to April 3rd, 2020, I performed daily solo piano from home. It was during the first lockdown, which was an unexpected, unpredictable, new, and dramatic change in all of our lives. But from a more positive perspective, it was also a great opportunity to connect with my fans in a new way and to revisit material that I had not played in a long time - and I loved both very much! It sort of became a cultural moment - with worldwide audiences tuning in at over 100k people total. We were even featured on PBS News Hour alongside Yoyo Ma.

So to celebrate this one year anniversary, I performed this one (1) live streamed concert from home on Thursday, March 25th at 17:00 CET (12 noon EST) w/ special guest, the great Alvin Queen, who was the drummer on my 1986 debut album "Here or There" and whom I have been friends and frequent collaborator with ever since.”
