The Doky Brothers announced for SOUND DUES '22

SOUND DUES & NIELS LAN DOKY INTERNATIONAL JAZZ COLLECTIVE PROUDLY PRESENTS

THE DOKY BROTHERS FOR SOUND DUES 2022

Together with SOUND DUES and Niels Lan Doky International Jazz Collective, we are proud to announce the reunion of The Doky Brother with Niels Lan Doky and Chris Minh Doky as a part of SOUND DUES ‘22.

Among the first artists on the May 2022 program also includes American alto saxophone icon David Sanborn and his band from New York, Debbie Sledge & Camille Sledge - of planetary perpetual Sister Sledge/We Are Are Family fame - returning to Denmark for the first time in four years, a celebration of some of the greatest jazz records in history with the jazz cruise project “The 1959 Project” presenting the iconic album Kind of Blue, Time Out, and Mingus Ah Um; a rare and exclusive reunion of the original cast of the Getz/Gilberto project from the now defunct The Standard Jazz Club in Copenhagen, where their appearances drew and accumulated more than five thousand ticket buyers.

The Niels Lan Doky International Jazz Collective has partnered with SOUND DUES to help bring the music to life. SOUND DUES will offer an innovative and refreshing addition to the existing international circuit of recurring jazz festivals all over the globe and become a wider celebration of the culture, community, and lifestyle of Jazz in its many forms.
